Like many of you my job has changed in the last 30 days. I have gone from world traveler to Zoom presenter and I know I’m not alone.
Most of you are doing virtual sales calls and designing from home.
Speaking with the ACSP Facebook group – everyone agreed, virtual sales calls are here to stay.
What does that mean for you and your business?
Home Offices should be at the top of your list.
If your customers don’t know that you build and design home offices, you need to make it a priority.
A few marketing ideas that won’t cost you anything –
- Send your customers an email blast with pics of great home offices and a bunch of cool accessories.
- Post home offices to your social media channels.
- Blog about ways to remain productive at home.
Just like when you design closets, you include the must have accessories.
At least I hope you do, because if not you are leaving a lot of money on the table and we need to talk – stop reading and call me now – 347-723-7433. ?
You should do the same thing when designing a home office, this is the easiest way to make you more profitable and increase your average sale.
As I have told you in the past a major difference between Richelieu and our competitors, is that we dive much deeper into a product line – for example we have an entire catalog dedicated to hooks – offering good, better, best options.
Here are some of our most popular office accessories –
Every desk should have at least one or two wire grommets, but a cool desk needs power!!!
A must have for any luxury home office is a sit to stand desk. Sitting for 8 hours per day not only gives you a stiff neck and back, but it isn’t great for your overall health either. There is a huge movement away from traditional desks to a sit to stand option.
At Richelieu you guessed it we have 3 types.
For the DIYer –
Manual sit to stand desk legs for those on a budget.
The best option – electric desk legs with two motors and four programmable heights. Perfect if you share your home office or wear different height heels.
Personally I hate the look of messy wires and I’m sure if you have a client that is spending the money for a custom home office, they will not want to see wires either.
Wire management is a must. A simple J-channel and/or a cable management option should do the trick.
The last item that is a must for any home office is a filing cabinet.
We have metal and plastic options.
The plastic style is the most popular and allows the files to sit above the top of the drawer.
Do you have any completed home offices using Richelieu products? Please upload them to LinkedIn or Instagram and tag @Richie DeMarco so that I can re-share your post – this is another great way to stay in front of your customer during this crazy time.
As always please email me at RDeMarco@Richelieu.com or call your local sales rep if you would like more info about our home office products.
